IKEA eco tour – An eco journey through IKEA Southampton looking at how IKEA address water conservation, recycling, renewable energy & their carbon footprint. Get information
on how to lead a more sustainable life at home.

Romsey Farmers Market

Find lots of local produce from around the County. You’ll find watercress, venison, bread, fish, pies and plants & much more.

TTR will be having a stand at the market – helpers needed for a hour or so on the stand.

Alma Road Car Park

Wednesday 16th,
4.00 pm – 6.00pm

Meet at 3.00pm Crosfield Hall Entrance. Return 7.00pm.

Trinley Down Farm visit

This estate is a great example of sustainable arable farming showing the advantages of minimal cultivation of the soil & excellent wildlife conservation credentials.
The tour is 2 hours long, travelling around the farm on the ‘people’ tractor. To find out more www.trinley.co.uk/index.htm

Volunteers needed throughout the day (from 8.30am) to help for an hour or two – it was great fun last time!

Sunday 20th, 10.00 – 12.00 Bug Hotel workshop - Help build a full-size model similar to those at Whitenap Community Orchard and King John’s House. Or make a smaller version to take away. Land by the Star Pub, Cherville St.

Ever fancied an allotment and wondered how much
work it involves; can you feed the whole family; what’s a no dig system? Come along to Romsey Allotments, have a trip round & your questions answered.

When: meet at Romsey station at 18.45 (for a 19.00 train)

The Mill Arms, Dunbridge is opposite  Mottisfont and Dunbridge Station – 3 minute walk.

A chance to buy and sell well priced, nearly new baby and children’s clothes, equipment, maternity wear and toys.

This easy two hour walk by local botanist Celia Cox introduces you
to the identification, edibility, folklore & uses (general & medicinal)
of many commonly found wild plants.
Cost: Cost £10 per person for adults, £5 for under 16’s. Groups
of 6 persons or more booked together, £8.00 per person
